A bit about me...
This is me, Victoria...
I'm an English artist, based in Italy.
I paint a lot of florals and people, and often a combination of the two.
My work centres around an obsession with colour and its relationship to form and texture. I’m searching for ways to create something beautiful but also original.
I've been painting for over thirty years.
I began my career in the United States as a textile designer. I founded a New York/London design studio and collaborated with leading women's wear designers.
Later, I moved my creative business to Rome. My artwork has appeared on beautiful products for well-known clients, including Anthropologie, Gap, Hallmark, Papyrus, and Windham Fabrics.
By now, I've worked out who I am as an artist.
The journey so far has been exciting, intriguing, and often exasperating.
But at this point, I know what I like, trust my own judgement, and have an authentic, recognisable style.
My approach is intuitive, immediate, and experimental.
I want to help you reach the same level of creative confidence...
My guiding principle is, 'Give it a try'. That's how you unearth what makes you unique — fearlessly follow your curiosity and explore.
